Open House - Tuesday 5/14

Vernfield students and teachers are excited to host our annual Open House on Tuesday, May 14 from 5:30 - 7:00 PM! We understand that this is a busy time of year for many families, but we hope that you take some time to come and see the many things that the students and teachers have prepared. The Home & School Association is sponsoring a hot dog dinner (1 per person please) to add to your family's convenience.

Please remember to sign in on sheet in your child's classroom. Our goal is to have every student attend Open House with at least one adult.

Thank you for your continued support!

Spring Book Fair - Volunteers Needed!

The Spring Book Fair is coming! From May 14-17, Mrs. Lightstone needs daytime volunteers to assist students with finding books, managing their budgets, or operating the register. The Book Fair is also open during Open House, so evening help is needed that night. Partial shifts are welcome.

The book fair is Buy One Get One Free, and Mrs. Lightstone always makes sure students get the best deals! Sign up to volunteer today!

IVEF - Teacher & Staff Appreciation 2019

Looking for a way to honor that special teacher or staff member?

Now Open: Teacher & Staff Appreciation Campaign

Your donation in honor of a special SASD teacher or staff member means so much! Donations are used to provide additional resources and learning opportunities in the Souderton Area School District. Donations of all sizes are making a tremendous impact in our classrooms.

Again this year, if we are able to raise $2,500 through this campaign, we will have those funds matched by an anonymous donor! Keep in mind that the IVEF is an approved 501(c)(3) organization, so your donation is tax deductible.

  1. Go to:
  2. Enter your contact and payment information and you’re set!

Your teacher will be notified of your donation with a certificate acknowledging your generous gift in their honor. You can even include a personal message. And, you can acknowledge more than one teacher in one easy transaction!

Please complete your donation by Friday, June 7th, for delivery to recipients before the end of the school year.

Many thanks for your support,
