The 3rd Nine weeks of the 21-22 SY has concluded and there is no doubt that this year has given us opportunities for growth, exploration, and ingenuity as we have collectively worked together to overcome various obstacles!
With the end of the year in sight, I wanted to ensure that you were up to date on the latest information as it pertains to your child. Be sure you are checking in on the progress of your child within PowerSchool to ensure they are meeting academic expectations; the semester will conclude before you know it! Please use the newsletter linked below to see the highlights and information as well as the brief snapshot below of what to expect, with a considerable amount of communication for our class of 2022:
- Jr/Sr Prom – Saturday, March 26 – Please know information has been distributed and communicated. ALL Students planning to attend Prom must be in attendance for the FULL day on Friday, March 25.
- Student Appreciation Week – The week ahead we get to highlight our students in various ways and through engaging activities/opportunities to just show them some love for being a great student body!
- Cap and Gown Delivery – Graduation is near, cap and gowns will be delivered during lunch on March 22.
- Senior Exams – The final exam schedule for Senior Students has been posted and will take place on Thursday, May 12 and Friday May 13! #ClassOf2022
- Senior Information – Use this link to stay updated on the latest and greatest as it pertains to the class of 2022.
- Scholarships – Don’t miss out on a great opportunity to apply and be recognized for your academic achievements! See Newsletter for more specific information!
- Wildcat Experience Dues – Don’t Delay and make sure you get those paid today! These dues go to support all the “EXTRAS” we provide our students!
- Spring Break – April 4 – April 8; Use this time to rest, relax and recharge for the final stretch!

2022 School Spirit Awards - Who is Up for the Challenge?
Varsity Brands (aka Herff Jones) just released their 2022 School Spirit Award categories, and we firmly believe that we have students, teachers, and staff who would be more than capable of winning. Award category winners will take home a personal $3000 prize, and the grand prize for the Most Spirited High School is $25000 for the school! Each of the category submissions requires:
- One 500-word essay demonstrating why the nominee is deserving of this award
- One letter of recommendation from a school principal, administrator or community leader
- Two photos of the nominee and their work
To sweeten the pot…
- The 3rd block class with the highest percentage of submissions will win a PIZZA PARTY!
We are including the categories below, and the link above has more information regarding category submissions, and official rules are HERE. The official deadline for online submissions is March 31!

Attendance Reminder
- Attendance: As it relates to attendance and expectations regarding the check out process, please exercise the following should your child need to leave early: send in a signed note and have your student drop it by the attendance office in the morning. Phone calls, emails and faxes are not accepted. Please be sure to include a good contact number for verification. Once verified, the student will be given a class dismissal note, and sign themselves out.
Athletic Ticketing - Go Fan
Richmond Hill High School and Richmond Hill Athletics are excited to announce the use of Go Fan for our sporting events. Go Fan allows all event spectators to purchase tickets prior to events, or at the gate through your mobile device, avoid long lines, and limit person to person contact. Parking Permits
All students parking on campus, including dual enrolled students must have a parking permit. Parking permits should be displayed by the first day of school, August 3, 2021.
