Read Across America - Monday, March 2nd
Monday, March 2nd, Chalmers Elementary celebrated National Read Across America Day by dressing up as our favorite book character. We encouraged students, parents, and staff to participate! It didn’t have to be a Dr. Seuss character, it just so happens the day is in conjunction with his birthday. See some of the great costumes below!

Regional Spanish Spelling Bee
Kassanda Huerta and Esteban Chirinos represented Chalmers on Friday at the Regional Spanish Spelling Bee. We are so proud of them!
Note From The Principal
This upcoming week will be the last week of school before Spring Break. I hope everyone has a safe and relaxing time off with their families! When we come back, we will be heavy into our Spring activities. Hopefully, we can get this sickness out of here, and enjoy a fun and very learning intensive last 9 weeks of school! Notice that our bond election information is linked in this newsletter. I encourage you to come out and hear Dr. Stewart speak at one of the events to get the facts on the bond election. Thanks again for getting your students to school on time. Class starts at 7:45am everyday. Our awards assembly has been postponed for two weeks but we will have it next Friday. If your student had perfect attendance, they will be recognized. We will also honor our students of the month. You will get a letter if you need to attend for student of the month. Have a great week!
