Meteoroids are chunks of rocks that doesn't enter Earth's atmosphere! It stays in space, often called "shooting stars". Space rocks from a comet or a broken asteroid are called meteoroid!
Asteroids are a rocky object that orbits the sun. They are irregularly shaped rock, smaller than a planet. Most asteroids orbit the sun about midway between the orbits of Mars and Jupiter.
Comets are an icy, dirty ball that has an odd orbit. Its tail always points away from the sun. It follows a long, elliptical orbit from the sun. It has a head and long, flowing vapor tail.
