Orenda Report Cards
Orenda Charter School District is sharing district and campus data as part of its obligations under the Federal Every Student Succeeds Act of 2015 (ESSA).
The Texas Academic Performance Report (TAPR)
The TAPR report contains the current performance on the TAPR indicators for Orenda Charter School District and each campus in the District. The most recent full report (for the 2021-2022 school year) is accessible in PDF format via the links below. TEA-issued reports for prior years are available online at TEA Performance Reporting.
School Report Card
The school report card (SRC) combines accountability ratings, data from the Texas Academic Performance Reports (TAPR), and financial information to give a broad view of campus performance. Available for each campus in Texas, the SRC is intended specifically to inform parents and guardians about a school’s individual characteristics and its academic performance. Find the School Report Card for any campus or district via TEA. School Report Card Definitions
Federal Report Card
The U.S. Department of Education requires each state to publish an annual report card with specific district and campus-level data related to meeting federal accountability targets. Find the Federal Report Card for any campus or district via TEA.
All of three of the above Orenda Report Cards are also available on the Orenda Education Website under the Governance--> Annual Reports tab found here.
Volunteer Process
One of the key pillars in a successful organization is volunteers. Orenda Charter School District appreciates all who give of their time and talents. Orenda has recently revamped our volunteer procedures. Click here to review the new Orenda Volunteer Handbook. If you would like to volunteer, please complete our application and return the Volunteer Agreement at the end of the Volunteer Handbook to the campus principal. Thanks to all who give graciously to our students and teachers!

Mastery
Many of our Orenda students have been recently putting our "Circle of Courage" philosophy to practice, especially in the area of mastery! The Kingsland Chess Team (Larry Shelton, Wyatt Young, Miles Darilek and Zachary Kilmer) made it all the way to the State Chess Tournament. These young people had the chance to compete inside the state Capitol in December!
The Kingsland School Math Team also earned a trip to the State Competition at the end January where they placed 7th and 11th. The team consisted of two seniors (Emily Winger and Ellie Lewis). The rest of the team will be with us for at least 2 more years so they have time to grow and improve.
Also proudly representing Orenda at a recent state meet was the Gateway Gator Swim Team. At the Region IV-4A swim and dive meet, our team had very strong efforts, led to a 2nd place finish for the girls and a 4th place finish for the boys.
And Gateway Senior DJ Robinson recently advanced to All State Choir in San Antonio. Congrats to all!

Generosity
Gateway College Prep High School AVID Elective also gave holiday gifts to students at the Table of Grace Emergency Shelter. Their generosity made a difference in providing a special holiday for students during challenging times.
