Grade 8 - MCAS Mathematics this Week
The Grade 8 MCAS Mathematics test take place on the mornings of Tuesday and Thursday, May 2 & 4. The general testing session will run until 11:00 AM. After 11:00 AM, classes will resume for 8th graders.
Students, please make sure to
- get plenty of rest,
- eat a healthy breakfast,
- charge your chromebook, and
- arrive to school on time.
Please remember that state testing is just one measure of a student's academic progress. We value the individual strengths and abilities of each of our students and recognize that success can be achieved in many different ways.
Early Release Day - Wednesday, May 3
On Wednesday, May 3, we will have an early release day for students. Teachers will participate in a half-day of professional development. Dismissal for students will be at 11:00 AM.
Please be reminded that on early release days students must ride their assigned bus home.
Progress Report Grades - Posted by Friday, May 5
This is a reminder that Progress Report Grades will be posted for students and parents/guardians to view on Infinite Campus by 5:00 PM on Friday, May 5. Remember that progress report grades are a snapshot of grades at the midpoint of the trimester.
