BACK TO SCHOOL SOCIAL
Greetings,
We were finally able to host our annual Back to School Social. I would like to thank the Arrowhead Home and School as well as all of the parent volunteers. We had a really great turn out. It is always nice to see and chat with new as well as returning Arrowhead families! What a great event! The soft pretzels and water ice were very well received and appreciated!
Great turnout for our Back to School Social!
Students and families enjoying the social!
Welcome new families!
Grade 3 Spotlight: Weird but true facts
This week our grade students worked with their homeroom teachers and Mr. Dale, our technology specialist, in researching weird but true facts. Upon visiting the 3rd grade classrooms, students shared some weird but true facts. Here are some facts students shared: Bats can eat up to 3,000 insects in one night. Girls have more taste buds than boys. Some honeybee queens quack. The tallest known snowman was higher than a 12 story building. The students enjoyed researching the weird but true facts. Here is the website the students researched during this lesson. https://www.getepic.com It has access to over 25,000 books!
