Helpful Info - 2023 School Year

Hutt Valley High School Newsletter | 14 December 2022

Principal's Message

Kia ora koutou,

This is the final newsletter for 2022. Most staff and all students are now on holiday. The school site will be busy for a few more weeks, with contractors building new Music portacoms, laying the new cricket wicket on the top field, and completing more weather-tightness work around the campus.

We finished the year with two lovely junior prizegiving events celebrating with whānau and friends in our school hall. Congratulations to all award winners. The next time we gather will be for our Year 9 Pōwhiri on Wednesday 1 February. We will be welcoming over 350 new students.

Detailed information will be emailed to you. This is a very busy place with a lot happening each day. I recommend reading the regular newsletter, following us on Facebook or Instagram, and downloading the school app.

Meri Kirihimete, Merry Christmas and have a restful and sunny summer holiday break.

Ngā mihi nui,

Denise Johnson, Principal
