A circadian rhythm is a period pattern of behavior that repeats on a daily basis.

Fruit flies use circadian rhythms that are synched to vibrations in light and temperature to help regulate their bodies.

Migration is an example of circadian rhythms. Animals, like birds, use it to figure what season they are in. With this, they process the information and figure out when is the best time to leave for winter and to come back for spring.
