NACP Parents In the Know
News From Our Principal, Dr. Guerrero
WEEK 20 - February 5, 2021
Message from the Principal
We've had a pretty busy schedule these past few days. We held several parent meetings (ELPAC Testing Informational, Project2Inspire, Coffee with the Principal), celebrated our students' at our Success Celebration Assemblies, made updates to attendance, hosted this year's Oversight Visit Team, and published the school's newest School Accountability Report Card (SARC).
Below you will find information about attendance efforts NACP has in place to encourage students to show up every day. If your child is absent for whatever reason, please call the school at (818) 710-2640 and leave a message stating your child's name and reason for the absence. You can also (1) send us an email NACPoffice@nacpdolphins.org or (2) contact your child's teacher via Remind. Keep us informed, we are here to help.
In this newsletter you will find a copy of today's Coffee with the Principal Slideshow presentation- it has great information about the SARC, our Oversight Visit, Upcoming Workshops, and the upcoming Enrollment Lottery. You do not want to miss this! Ms. Molina and Ms. De Revere put together a slide to keep parents informed about upcoming state testing. Ms. Garcia (Vanessa) shared new and upcoming workshops NACP's Parent Center will be offering in February and March.
We appreciate all you do! We miss all of you!
Sincerely Yours,
-Dr. Guerrero
