Cristiano Ronaldo is a professional soccer player who has set records while playing for both Manchester United and Real Madrid. His full name is Cristiano Ronaldo dos Santos Aveiro, but he goes by Cristiano Ronaldo. Ronaldo was born on February 5, 1985 In Medeira, Portugal. He got the name "Ronaldo" after then-U.S. President Ronaldo Reagan who was his fathers favorite actor. He is the youngest child of Maria Dolores dos Santos Aveiro, a cook, and Jose Dinis Aveiro, a municipal gardeners. He has one older brother, Hugo, and two older sisters, Elma and Liliana Catia. He grew up poor and said he shared a bedroom with his siblings. At the age of eight, Ronaldo played for amateur team Andorinha, where his father was the kit man.
