PRHS Honor Roll
SISTERS HELPING WOMEN IN NEED
Our mission is to support homeless women who are struggling with addiction. This effort is under a larger humanitarian project - Merrimack Valley Hope Mission. Last year, we were able to donate over 200 items (undergarments and specific hygiene products) and transported them to the homeless shelter in Haverhill. 36 students were involved as well as numerous community members. We have set-out to do this again this year and will be expanding our reach by helping shelters in Lawrence.
Below are the details of how this works:
Sign-Up Genius link for volunteer students to sign-up:
This link provides an overview of the community service effort, items needed for donation, dates of the effort, and how community service hours can be earned: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10c0f44a5a622a2ffc34-2023#/
Dates for students to donate: February 1 -February 28
Location for donation drop-offs: GAR Memorial Library (490 Main St WN)
Community service credit: Each item donated = 1 community service hour. There is a cap at 5 hours. Students must attach a label to their donation with their first and last name to redeem service hours. If items are not labeled we have no way of tracking. Signed community service forms will be provided for students who participated after March 5th.
Thank you, please see Audrey or Kate Conover with any questions.

THE MIDDLE SCHOOL
EXTRACURRICULAR EVENTS
This is a reminder to all middle school students that when you are attending school events outside the school day (sporting events, performances, etc.) that all school rules apply. This means,
- We are respectful to all persons at the event (players, coaches, parents)
- We use appropriate language
- We keep our hands to ourselves and have control over our bodies
- We stay in the designated area and do not wander the building
- We are sitting in the bleachers, not running up and down them.
We would like as many students as possible attending our after school events and want everyone to enjoy themselves as we cheer on our Green and White. Failure to follow the expectations above may result in a suspension from attending these events.
