  • Origin - The Flamenco first started in the Andalusia region of Spain.
  • It was first recorded during the 18th and 19th century.
  • Originally a story told, cry, or chant.
  • Style of songs called the Tonas that include: the tona, martinetes, carceleras, and the debla.
  • Made up of four elements: Cante, Baile, Toque, and Jaleo(hell-raising)
