Free Friday Night Dinner

Breaking Bread of JC serves a FREE dinner every Friday 5:00pm-7:00pm at the 12th Street Community Center.

8th Graders: High School Enrollment

On Thursday, Feb. 20th all 8th graders received information about freshman enrollment at Junction City High School. Students will enroll online at school the following days:

Monday Feb. 24th - Team 8

Tuesday Feb. 25th - Team 9

Wednesday Feb. 26th - Team 10

Student Led Conferences...Coming SOON!!

Student Led Conferences will be held:

March 16 (3:30-7:45)

March 17 (3:30-7:45)

March 18 (3:30-7:30)


Mr. Martinez, our ELL aide, has been calling those parents who would like Spanish translation to schedule those conferences. If your phone number on Skyward has changed, please call our Spanish Translation Line 785-717-4428 and leave a message with your new number. If your conference has NOT been scheduled, please call our Spanish line as soon as possible and leave a message so Mr. Martinez can call you back and schedule a conference time. Thank you for your help!!

KELPA testing is complete!!

KELPA (Kansas English Language Proficiency Assessment) testing is complete! These tests will be scored by the state. Once scoring is complete, we will mail home your child's results. Scores are projected to be sent out by August.

Pennies for Patients: One week left to donate!

Pennies for Patients began Feb. 7th and ends Feb. 28th. Students are encouraged to bring in any loose change/money to raise money for children with cancer. Prizes will be given to those CAT times that earn the most! The top 5 students who bring the most money win a pizza lunch!

Per CDC, KDHE, & USD 475 guidelines:

Students must stay at home, away from school, for a minimum of 5 days if the flu is diagnosed. Must be fever-free for a minimum of 24 hours without the help of fever-reducing medication. Some students in our school & district have compromised immune systems. Please use consideration & do not send your ill students to school.
