NMS PRODUCTION OF ANNIE, JR. FEBRUARY 7th
Mark your calendar for the upcoming performance of Annie, Jr. on Friday, February 7.
Based on the popular comic strip and adapted from the Tony Award-winning Best Musical, with a beloved book and score by Tony Award winners, Thomas Meehan, Charles Strouse and Martin Charnin, Annie JR. features everyone’s favorite little redhead in her very first adventure.
With equal measures of pluck and positivity, little orphan Annie charms everyone's hearts, despite a next-to-nothing start in 1930s New York City. Annie is determined to find the parents who abandoned her years ago on the doorstep of an orphanage run by the cruel Miss Hannigan. Annie eventually foils Miss Hannigan's evil machinations, finding a new home and family in billionaire Oliver Warbucks, his personal secretary, Grace Farrell, and a lovable mutt named Sandy.

INVENTION CONVENTION JUDGING OPPORTUNITY
We are in need of volunteer judges at Meadows' Invention Convention on Monday, Feb 24 from 2:30 - 5:30 PM. As long as your child is not participating in the competition, we welcome your participation. Want to know more? Check out this brief overview video: Judging at Invention Convention video
Judges will be working in groups of 3 to circulate among a designated number of projects. Judges will receive scoring material ahead of time and a short training before the judging begins. The judging orientation begins at 2:30 and judging lasts from 3:00pm to approximately 5:30pm.
A percentage of the winning projects from NM will be sent to the regional Invention Convention, and winners from that event will advance to the National Invention Convention at the Henry Ford later this spring.
Interested judges should sign up here to indicate their interest in helping judge: Interested judges sign up here or click on the Invention Convention judge signup button below. A confirmation email will be sent to all judges to confirm additional details.
