Note From Principal Lunkin

Greeting Woodridge Families!

What an amazing start to the school year! Thank you so much for all of your efforts in helping us get off to a wonderful start to the school year. Yes, we experienced a few bumps in the road that had to be overcome, but overall it was an awesome start to the school year!

Please note Fridays are a little different and are mostly asynchronous days. However, attendance is still taken on these days and we have a daily schedule with activities and assignments for students to engage in.

Thank you in advance for your continued support as we navigate through new learning experiences this year. We appreciate the kind emails with words of encouragement many of you have shared over the last week. We realize the virtual platform is not the most ideal situation and by far not perfect. But please know that our team is committed to our scholars and vow to collaboratively work together to minimize any concerns encountered during this school year. We are a T.E.A.M. (Together Everyone Achieves More)!

We look forward to seeing you on our Zoom meetings this week. School starts at 8:00 a.m.!

Warm Regards,

Principal Lunkin

Scholars who are unable to access our online platforms will have non-tech assignments as a alternative. Daily check-in's with their teacher(s) are required for each scholar and will be used for attendance purposes. (i.e. turning in work in Schoology, phone calls, email, Class Dojo, etc.) . Scholars will submit their assignments in the following ways:

  • Turn in the drop box (located in the front of the campus) by Monday of each week

  • Take a picture of the assignment and email to teacher

  • Take a picture of the assignment and upload to Schoology
