December 7, 2018

Greetings Titan Community! We have two weeks remaining until we have our holiday break. In that time, we have a ton of activities going on school. Multiple groups are conducting fundraisers to help the needy. We have donation boxes in our house offices collecting everything from toys and clothing to children’s books. If you have some items you would like to donate, please send them in with your student.

We are pulling grades this next week for eligibility. Please check in on the parent portal and follow up with your student and their teachers. Also, we have two remaining winter concerts the next two Mondays. I was at the concert this past week and the music was amazing with outstanding performances by our musicians. Concerts start at 7:00- bring the family out for some holiday cheer!!

Speaking of getting out...Make sure to cast your vote on Tuesday, December 11 in the Schroeder Gymnasium for the proposed capital project. All of the schools in Webster will be improved and there are HUGE improvements planned for Thomas High School. Here is a link to the district website and more information about the proposal:

Help support children and families in need!

Students of the National Honor Society are running a Toys for Tots toy drive which is run by the Marine Corps. For this toy drive we are asking people to bring in NEW and unwrapped toys that will later be donated to children for the holidays. The students are also running a clothing drive to help sponsor families through Western New York Heroes. All clothes donated must be NEW and UNUSED! All items do not have to be expensive but they do have to be new, so unfortunately this means nothing from Savers or Goodwill. Both drives will run from Nov 28th-Dec 14th and there will be boxes in the main office and the blue and gold house offices. We hope that you can donate to help make a child’s Christmas better!
