From the desk of Mrs. Anderson
We have many exciting things happening at the Gold Academy! Our fifth grade classrooms have partnered with STARBASE and are involved in hands-on learning experiences two days a week. The goal of this program is to motivate students to explore Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM). This experience will continue through March 21st!
Gold and Blue Academy had their Winter Carnival last week! The students had a chance to play games, win prizes, and listen to some amazing performances by our sixth grade students and our choir. It was fun for our staff as well, especially Mrs. LeMay as she was “slimed” by some students! Check out a couple of pictures below!
We are approaching Spring Break quickly! With that being said, we still have a lot of learning to do! Our students and staff work hard to continue moving toward our school goals each day.
Our third grade students will be taking the state-wide IREAD-3 test next Tuesday and Wednesday. The students have been working hard all year and will be ready for this test! There are more details below regarding this test.
As always, our goal is to Educate, Empower and Inspire our students each day!
