Help the HSA celebrate Teacher Appreciation Week! May 2-6!
Teacher appreciation week is right around the corner and the GES staff have knocked it out of the park this year. As part of the week, we are creating a “Wall of Fame” to show how much we appreciate them. Help us create our wall of fame by having your child write/draw a thank you to a staff member in the building. We will be sending Notecards home with your student for this project. If you would like to send in more than one, please use paper from home. All thank you notes are due back to the office by 4/27/22.
If you are able to help with donations, for our week long celebration, please click on the link below to sign up. Thank you for all of your help!

GES Fun Run Kick off is May 13th
We are excited to kick off our Gilbertsville Fun Run on May 13th. Our goal is to raise $25,000 for school and classroom improvements. This will help strengthen our school community. To make our fundraising more profitable and fun, we have partnered with Boosterthon! Boosterthon is a 2 week fundraising campaign that promotes fitness, teamwork, and character while helping our school raise much needed funds! The program will begin with a high energy digital kickoff video on May 13th and end with an epic Fun Run experience on May 24th!
All students will run 35 laps and get pledges for each lap they run (Ex: $1 per lap ran = $35) or they can get flat donation pledges as well. As they get pledges, they have the opportunity to earn fun prizes too. Between kickoff and Fun Run, students will learn about character, be issued nightly challenges, and get pledges from friends and family to help their school!
We completely understand if your family is not in a position to financially support the school right now. You can still be involved by simply SHARING about our fundraiser with friends and extended family online at MYBOOSTER.COM. Sharing IS supporting! Just as we worked to safely begin school this year, we are also safely hosting this essential fundraiser based on our school’s current guidelines. We’ll send more details, as we get closer to our kick off.
