I have also attached a letter about the program and a letter detailing the first unit that begins this month. We completed training on the program last week and we believe this will be a great experience in supporting the social emotional health of our students. Please reach out with any questions. COVID-19 Updates
Week of September 7, 2021-
2 student positives (one reported last week, one reported this week)
12 students in quarantine (4 new this week from close contact at school, 6 self imposed from weekend or previous week exposure and the two positive cases).
Zero staff in quarantine or positive.
*Note: These statistics are for PS-8th Grade.
Volunteering: We believe we need to limit volunteers having student contact until the COVID numbers start trending down as we are committed to keeping our grade level cohorts with minimal level exposure to outside sources. Please contact the office for safe opportunities to volunteer this fall.
Note: We want families to be our partners in navigating school during a pandemic. If you have COVID comfort concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to your child's homeroom teacher. We are doing our very best to make accommodations as we can.
