In order to help plan for the night, we are encouraging you to look at the following:

· Course Selection Book – with description of all the classes

· Course Selection sheet – this sheet is turned in

PLEASE BRING COURSE SELECTION SHEETS WITH YOU WEDNESDAY!

Please talk with your parents and teachers about picking classes.

Safe Pick-Up and Drop-Off

We need your help to create a safe situation for students to be picked up after school. Please observe patience and the rules of the road during pickup and drop-off times.

FRONT CIRCLE DRIVE (LAST NAME A-K):

  • Please pull as far forward as possible.
  • DO NOT Park across the street and call your children across through traffic or call them out to your car while you wait in line in the street. This is VERY dangerous.

BACK CIRCLE DRIVE (LAST NAME L-Z):

  • Please pull as far forward as possible up to the STOP line.
  • There is no parking on the west side of Parkway Boulevard. Please do not park across the street and call your children across through traffic. Use the circle drive.
  • Please do not turn around in the middle of Parkway Boulevard or do u-turns. This area is too busy with traffic, buses and kids.

Athletics Update

The LBC/SFA Swim Team Boys, led by Joaquin Guynes and Colin Griffin remain undefeated, beating Chilton and Wilson in a tri-meet, then Washington, Valders, and Wilson in dual meets over the last two weeks. The LBC/SFA Swim Team Girls have racked up victories over Washington and Valders, with close results in their other meets. Overall, the team enters the conference meet with a strong chance for success.

The 7th grade girls played on the road this week against Washington and Plymouth. Against Washington, the girls gave a strong effort throughout the entire game. They outscored Washington in the second half, but came up a few points short to lose 17-21. Abby Meunier scored a game high of 10 points. The girls played a competitive game against Plymouth. The B team came back during the fourth quarter from a 12 point deficit but lost 8-14. The A team ended up losing to Plymouth. The girls got into foul trouble early in the game which allowed Plymouth to earn some free shots to pull into the lead. In the second half the girls persevered but were unable to catch up. Emma Terrien and Claire McGinty each scored a game high of 7 points.

Last Thursday the Two Rivers 8th grade girls basketball team traveled to Manitowoc Wilson. In two really solid performances, the Raiders came away with victories by the B Team 29-2 and the A Team 45-24. This past Tuesday, the Raiders traveled to Manitowoc Washington for a single game. In a flat outing, the Raiders did post a 30-16 victory. Last night, Plymouth came to town. This marked the 3rd week in row that the Raiders have battled Plymouth. Despite a slow first half performance in which our shots just wouldn't fall, the raiders overcame a 25-12 deficit late in the 2nd quarter to complete the 3-game sweep of Plymouth with a 46-39 victory. This victory showed great fortitude by the girls in bouncing back from Tuesday's performance. The game was highlighted by efficient execution on offense over the closing 10 minutes with a strong defense effort as well. The girls will travel to Sheboygan Farnsworth next Tuesday and New Holstein next Thursday.
