Principal's Message

Dear Parents,

It's hard to believe it's already December and we're in our last week of school before the three-week vacation! We have had a wonderful first part of the year at SHPS! From the Fiesta de Octubre, to family movie night, Family Night at the Library, Parent Teacher Conferences and finally having parent volunteers (and grandparents too) back on campus - we are grateful for these last four months with your children.

We thank you for all of your support and hope that you enjoy this holiday season with your families.

Look for dates in January for grade-level potlucks coupled with Family Math Games Night!

COVID Tests

COVID test kits will be sent home on Thursday for return-to-school testing. Please test your child before they return to school on Monday, January 9th. You don't need to send us a picture of a negative test, but please let us know if they have tested positive! Fingers crossed that you all have a healthy holiday season!

Absences from School

SHPS - If your child misses school please contact the front office to let us know the reason for their absence. If they are out sick due to any Covid like symptom (Fever of 100.4 or more, cough, headache, nausea, vomit, diarrhea, tiredness, shortness of breath, chills or muscular pain, congestion, sore throat, new loss of smell or taste) we will also need proof of a negative Covid test prior to their return or a doctors note. You can text or email a screen shot of the test with the students name.
