Principal's Pen
Happy New Year! I hope you had a wonderful Christmas and pray that your family will be blessed in this new year with many graces.
During our two week closure it was busy at the school. We had a number of projects to complete. There was repair work done in our first floor bathrooms and the back door was also fixed. Upstairs we had new flooring put in our 5th/6th and 7th/8th grade rooms. I have pictures below. We were able to put new flooring in our classrooms due to generous donors, Ron and Diana Tortelli and Joanne Hady. We are very grateful for their generosity! The new flooring is such a huge improvement from our very old carpeting. Thank you!
Over the break our 7th and 8th graders held a movie night. This was a fundraiser for their class trip at the beginning of February. The students will be going on a ski trip during Catholic Schools Week for two nights. During this coming month the students will be working to raise money to help with the cost of this trip. Please watch for ways you can help our students in this endeavor.
Our Caught Being a Christian Award this week goes to Esther Erickson. Esther practiced the virtue of courtesy when she helped Mrs. Couper push in all the chairs in the computer room. Great job, Esther!
God bless,
Angela Oller
