Boosterthon:
Congratulations MCES families for an AWESOME Boosterthon Fun Run 2015.
TOMORROW (Tuesday, May 5th) is the pledge collection deadline for Tracks 1, 2 and 3.
Please send pledges in the envelopes sent home last week. There will be a table in the front hall on Tuesday morning where students can turn in their envelopes:). They may also turn them in to their teachers. This is the most important part of our fundraiser! The more pledges that are turned in, the more MCES and our students will benefit. Thank you again for supporting your students as well as the teachers and staff at MCES!

Carnival:
MCES Spring CARNIVAL is this weekend, Saturday, Mat 9th. Come and have a great time at this family event. Many, many volunteers are still needed. We have only 23 of the 75 volunteers needed to make this event success. Many of the jobs require only a small time commitment or just a conversational check in with student volunteers and/or vendors to see if they need anything. Please click on the following Sign Up Genius for details.

Vendor tables will be new at the Carnival this year. If you are an independent consultant for a home based company, consider "purchasing" a vendor table at the Carnival to sell your products. Tables will be "sold" for a donation to the silent auction or for a flat fee of $20.00. One consultant per company will be accepted on a first come, first serve basis. A few tables have already been reserved as a result of our Facebook announcement last week. You must provide your own table, set up, staffing. If you are interested, email AnnMarie Marchese at mcesptacarnival@yahoo.com with the name of your company. Emails will be answered in the order they are received.
Last year at our Spring Carnival, the Book Swap was a huge success! Our goal for this year is for every child to leave the Carnival with a book. Here is how your child can get a book at Carnival on May 9th:
Bring a gently used book to Carnival to exchange for one that's "new to them." It's that easy! If you have a gently used book your child is ready to part with, please bring it to Carnival and visit us at the book swap table. We will begin with a large selection of donated books, so come anytime during the event to find a great book!
Folding Tables are needed! Big (Clean)Trash cans too. If you have a six or eight foot folding table, and/or a large rubber trash can, and can loan it to the school for the weekend for use at Carnival, please email AnnMarie Marchese at mcesptacarnival@yahoo.com. 12-15 tables are needed. The trash cans WILL NOT be used for garbage. They will be used for clean scrap material at the Scrap Exchange Make and Take attraction. Thank You!
Cake Walk Donations!
Thank You to everyone who signed up for cake walk donations. Please bring your item to school Friday (any time) or Saturday before 12. There will be collection in car pool Friday morning and a table set up in front of the office on Saturday 10am -12pm. You will receive a reminder email this week. If you have not signed up, you are still welcome to donate an item.
