Social Emotional Learning
7 Mindsets
In the month of January, students are learning the mindset, 100% Accountable. There are 4 critical components to this mindset. Last week, students learn "Own Your Life". This coming week, students are learning "Focus Your Energy".
Review the parent newsletter (linked below) for ideas on how you can reinforce this mindset at home.
Own Your Life
3rd-5th graders begin to become aware of their own uniqueness and individuality. The 100% Accountable Mindset teaches us that we have unique characteristics and ideas, and that we must hold on to the freedom of acting and thinking for ourselves. As part of the Own Your Life lesson, students embraced each others uniqueness by creating a class puzzle.
