Call 816-316-5300 to set up an appointment to pick up a device!
Remember, your student must be FULLY ENROLLED in order to receive a device. This includes updated residency checks and immunization records. If you are not sure you are fully enrolled, you can call Lisa Crosby at 816-316-5300.
Students in grades K-3 will receive iPads.
Students in grades 4-5 will receive MacBooks
Device Insurance
The district is offering device insurance you can purchase between now and October 10th. This will cover damages to the device should they happen.

Student Tech Helpline
If you are having difficulty with a student device, first check out the website - it has a lot of great info and helpful tips to troubleshoot on your own. Still having issues? Email the helpdesk and someone will return the call within 24 hours. Wanting to talk to someone live? Call! Just be aware that they are experiencing a high call volume and your wait time may be extended.

Meal Pick Up
Breakfast AND Lunch meal pickup is FREE for every student.
Virtual Learning Schedules/Attendance
Students are expected to log into Canvas daily and complete work. This is how we take attendance.
If you miss a live session, it will be recorded and posted on Canvas for students to watch later in the day. It is so important that your student stays involved in school and up to date with their work.
If you are having issues, please reach out. We will do all we can to help you make this year successful for your student.
LINC Community Help: Resources and Relationships
LINC Caring Communities site coordinators want to support children as they go back to school — virtually or in person — and help families with pressing needs such as:

When you enroll, you will need to choose from two options:
A. Distance Learning - your student will learn online for the entire semester regardless of other district changes.
B. Blended Learning - your student will learn online to begin the semester, but will have the opportunity to come back into the classroom when the district deems it safe to do so.

2020-2021 Grandview Supply lists
We recommend you purchase supplies for your students even though we are currently learning virtually. Students will need supplies at home to complete their work. They can bring them into school when we are back in the building.

Dear Parents and Guardians,
As part of ongoing support for families, your child’s school is offering a series of classes for parents and guardians through a partnership with the Behavior Intervention Support Team (BIST). These training sessions are designed to help you manage your child’s virtual learning, provide ways you can support your child’s developing behavior skills, and increase consistency between home and school.

How to Register for Free Training
All sessions will be provided virtually at no cost, but registration is required,and space is limited. Please enroll on or before Friday, August 28, using the form below.
Once enrolled, you will receive an email containing the Zoom link by 3:00 PM on Monday, August 31. If you do not receive the email, please contact our office at bist@cornerstonesofcare.org for assistance.

Background: I've been with the Grandview C4 School District for 8 years now. I taught at Butcher-Greene for 7 years in third grade. I moved over to Belvidere and couldn't be happier to be here and can't wait to get to know all of the students and their families.

Even in a virtual environment, the support of our Parents and PTA are so important. The $7 membership fee goes towards many things students need during the school year, including getting materials into students hands during virtual learning.
