  4. Where are they usually found?Amur-Heilong,Eastern Himalayas,Borneo and Sumatra,Greater Mekong

  5. What is its endangerment status? (Critical, Threatened, Endangered)This species is now currently Endangered

  6. Why is your species endangered? Provide an explanation - do NOT just write "habitat loss" Their habitat has been destroyed,deranged,and fragmented by human activities.The clearing of forest for agriculture and timber as well as the building of road networks and other development activities pose a serious threat on tiger habitats. Another reason is poaching.Tigers are being poached from whiskers to tail for parts that are used in medicine and other folk remedies.

  7. What is being done to help your species?Tigers need landscape to thrive on.WWF is working on trying to connect this fragile habitats where there many more tigers and a food source for them. There also being a law that is putting an end to poaching.

  8. What does your species eat?It is a carnivore that can consume up to 88 pounds of meat.

Where are they found you ask?

Most Tigers live in Asia, specifically throughout Southeast Asia, China, Korea and Russia.
