Meal Train
For those of you who don't know, Paul Blair's wife, Julia, has been in the hospital since Thursday for troubling symptoms with a still unknown cause. I made a meal train to help them out at least until they can get Julia back home.

Tennessee Educator Survey
The Tennessee Educator Survey has launched. Every school level educator in Tennessee is invited and encouraged to share their perceptions and expertise on education-related issues affecting their classroom and school. Completion of the survey is expected to take up to 20 minutes. Those completing the survey will become eligible for a lottery drawing that will award several $300 classroom-support grants each week through April 20. Once the survey closes, a separate lottery drawing will be held to award $2000 grants to schools with the highest participation rates.
Survey completion is voluntary and individual responses will be kept confidential and not shared or released. Aggregate school-level results will be shared with school and district leaders by the end of May, if the school or district achieves at least a 45% participation rate. Click here for more information.

Weekly Warrior Update
WARRIOR WHOOP!
I was given the WOW award by my wonderful lunch duty pal Jennifer Cheek. Being that we spend so much time together and that she keeps me supplied with jelly beans it was with great pleasure to receive something like this from her. When it came time to pass this award along I could only think of one person who is truly a engine that helps keep Sevier running and that is Mr. Lucas Trent. Being down the hall from his office I see just how many students and staff go to him daily to keep their devices running. He is great with the kids and often goes beyond his job by not just fixing the computer and handing it back but shows them how to find it. Also he will have no problem picking up the rock with those muscles he keeps up his sleeves. Thank you Lucas for all you do for all of us and doing it with a smile.
-Brad Conkin
I was blessed to win the WOW award last week, but very thankful to Kim Rigsby for the nomination.Kim definitely has one of the hardest jobs in the school. I am thankful to work with awesome students, and amazing staff each day. Since this week, we are having a day to focus on school safety. I would like to nominate Brad Conkin for the WOW award this week. Brad always greets you with a smile and is loved by all the students. Thank you, Brad, for keeing our school safe. We appreciate all the long hours, constant training, and focus on safety of the students and staff.
