Dear Families,

The annual Helena auction is coming up on March 11th. What IS the auction? PTO's biggest fundraiser! This year, the auction will be held at Sycamore Tree in Savannah and have a Mardi Gras theme. Information will be coming home soon about purchasing tickets for the event. These tickets cover your admission and dinner by our very own Gina- gumbo and fried chicken. After dinner, there will be a quarter auction and live auction. There is always a wide variety of donations for the auction- gift cards, craft projects, Chiefs memorabilia, and SO many more items! As a result of this evening, several thousand dollars are raised each year for our school.

How can you help with the auction? PTO is in need of live auction items such as homemade gifts, gift baskets, and/ or baked goods. They are also asking for gift cards for the quarter auction. If you have a business connection that you are able/ willing to ask for a donation, we have a donation letter that can be shared. Any items can be sent to the school office. There is also an auction committee for those that are interested in volunteering. All donations need to be turned in no later than March 1, 2023. Thank you for all of your help in making this event successful!

FIELD TRIPS - Please remember that if you plan to volunteer or go on any field trips, you must complete a background check. There will be several opportunities for joining us on field trips in the next few months, so don't wait to get them completed! The background checks are good for several years. No more clipping!

Download the Boxtops app and simply snap a picture of your grocery receipt! The app will scan the receipt and identify any items on which our school earns points, which are automatically sent in via the app.

Online grocery shopper? Even easier!! You can link your email address via the app, then when you receive your digital receipt just forward it to receipts@boxtops4education.com. It's that easy!!
