A theme I found in Beowulf is comfort. Even though Grendel was a terrifying creature, he still could feel comfort within his home. Grendel did not just find comfort within his home, but he found comfort from within his mom.

Bilbo Baggins is a "short, human-like person." He is a hobbit who lives a peaceful life. His home is his sense of comfort, safety, and privacy. He does not really allow anyone in it most of the time. The connection is that both Grendel and Bilbo like to stay to themselves. They like going to their homes knowing that they are going to be safe and have privacy.

This article is about an autistic child who from an early age used to not communicate with his family and friends. Before the autism struck, Owen (autistic child) and Walt (his brother) used to watch Disney movies before going out to play. When Walt was ready to play Owen wasn't. Owen would just sit and watch Disney movies all day. That was his comfort. Owen found comfort from the Disney movies. After a while, he started to communicate. It was one of the Little Mermaid songs that helped him start to communicate. Now Owen is grown up and lives in a home with other special needs people. To this day, Owen still continues to watch Disney movies. It is what make him comfortable and happy.

This article is about making the children feel comfortable within the classroom. The article talks about how the environment can increase or decrease the child's learning ability. The article then goes on talking about how a classroom should be set up for the children. It talks about how the classroom should have calming colors such as blue or green. It also talks about how the environment should welcome the children. The children should get a friendly environment not a strict one. The children should have a desire to learn and not learn because they have to. If teachers make the classroom comfortable and welcoming, the child's learning ability will increase.

Quilts Comforting Military Children (Newscast)

This newscast is about an organization called Operation Kid Comfort. This organization takes photos of the child and the military parent or family member and turns it into a quilt. This idea is pretty neat. It is like a hug from them but just with a quilt. The organization has helped many families and continues to do so.

Tarra the Elephant and Bella the Dog (video)

This video is about an elephant and a dog who are really good best friends. They are attached to each other's hip. One day Bella was bedridden because she had a really bad back injury, but Tarra never left her side. This friendship is unbreakable, and the two animals could always find comfort from one another. Once Bella passed away, Tarra went to Shirley another elephant. Shirley helped with the grieving process and Tarra had comfort in her.
