Joyce C. Mills, PhD, LMFT, RPT-S
is the founder of StoryPlay® Global, a play therapist, and the author of eight books. StoryPlay®, a new Ericksonian indirective model of play therapy, helps children, adults, families, and communities heal from trauma and disaster. She has a private practice and is director of The StoryPlay® Center in Scottsdale, AZ, co-director of the Phoenix Institute of Ericksonian Therapy, and adjunct professor at Argosy University-Phoenix. Joyce is a licensed marriage and family therapist, and a registered play therapy supervisor, and on the Board of the non-profit Turtle Island Project.

Eliana Gil, PhD, ATR, RPT-S, LMFT, is recipient of the Association for Play Therapy's 2009 Lifetime Achievement Award. The author of numerous books, she is a registered play therapy supervisor, a registered art therapist, and a licensed marriage, family, child counselor. Eliana is also former president of the Association for Play Therapy and has worked in the field of child abuse prevention and treatment for over 40 years. She is Founder and Partner at Gil Institute for Trauma Recovery and Education, a group private practice in Fairfax, VA.
