Our Fun Run is this Friday, May 12! Students should wear their Fun Run t-shirts and running shoes. Please be sure students bring a water bottle! Parents are welcome to attend and cheer on their students. Here are the times each class will be running: 8:30 am - 9:00 am - 1st/2nd Grade 9:10 am - 9:40 am - Kindergarten 9:50 am - 10:20 am - 5th/6th Grade 10:30 am - 11:00 am - 7th/8th Grade 11:10 am - 11:40 am - 3rd/4th Grade We need volunteers to help count laps! Sign up HERE! As of May 7, we have raised $9667 and are getting close to our Early Bird Donation Goal. If we hit $12,000 by Thursday, May 11, the entire school will get to participate in a Foam Party! WHEN/WHERE? May 8th-12th in the drop-off and pick up line

Has your child outgrown their uniforms? PTO is taking your uniform donations for the used uniform sale in the fall. Please bring any unwanted uniform items the week of May 8th and drop them off with the teachers in the drop off line. You get a volunteer hour for your donation so this is a great way to earn a last minute volunteer hour!

Do you love organizing and earning volunteer hours? Here's your chance to show off your skills and help the PTO organize our storage closet! We are looking for 2-3 volunteers from 2pm -3:30 on May 17th to help clean, organize, and sort through the PTO Closet. Email pto@cherrycreekacademy.org if you’re interested in helping!

Back by popular demand! Earn volunteer hours by providing snacks to the CCA staff every Monday. Store bought items equal one volunteer hour, and homemade items count as 2 volunteer hours. Sign up one week before you will bring snacks. We love taking care of our teachers and staff!

We want to celebrate our 8th Graders!
To celebrate 8th grade graduation, we have teamed up to collect signatures from every student. We are working with a vendor to create a design including their signatures in the form of "Class of 2023."
We wanted to find out how many parents and guardians are interested in purchasing shirts for their graduates. The price is $15 per shirt. Drop off cash or checks made payable to CCA to Mr. Leins by the end of tutorial on Friday, May 12th.

Dear Parents of 8th Grade students,

All Cherry Creek Academy 8th graders will take a field trip to Finance Park on Friday, May 19th, 2023. Students will participate in an interactive experience that will teach them about managing finances as an adult. This field trip is free for all students. Students should bring a sack lunch that day (that they will take on the bus with them to finance park). In order for your child to participate, you must fill out the following document by Monday, May 15, 2023:

Dear Cherry Creek Academy 7th Grade Families,

It is hard to believe spring is here and summer is around the corner. As you begin to explore life beyond Cherry Creek Academy, we would love the opportunity to introduce you to Regis Jesuit High School and invite you to our campus. Practice High School Placement Exam “HSPT”

Saturday, April 29, 8:30-11:30am - registration is now open

The High School Placement Test (HSPT) is a required component for admissions to Regis Jesuit. The official exam will take place on Saturday, December 2, 2023. Regis Jesuit is offering an opportunity for current 7th grade students to take a full practice version of the exam. Students will learn how they compare to other 7th grade students across the nation, gain important information on academic strengths and weaknesses, and proceed into 8th grade with a strong sense of focus and readiness.

Class of 2028 Carnival

Monday, June 5, 5:30-8:00pm - registration is required and will open May 1

The Class of 2028 Carnival will be coupled with a service opportunity and is the perfect way to showcase Regis Jesuit’s community. This event will include making summer-fun baskets for children who need them the most, In-N-Out Burger food truck, carnival games, and lots of fun! All summer-fun baskets and proceeds from In-N-Out will go toward the In-N-Out Foundation and the Tennyson Center for Children. This event is free and only for prospective students who are registered and entering 8th grade this fall. We are excited to bring together students considering Regis Jesuit for high school to serve others and build community!

*Cherry Creek High School Soccer Coaches are conducting a preseason soccer camp the week before tryouts, July31-August 4th, 4-6 pm at the Greenwood Village Park Fields. This camp is open to incoming 9th-12 graders and includes conditioning, teaching individual drills, and fundamentals. This camp is optional but Highly Encouraged. There is a fee to participate. **Focus Tutoring’s Summer Math Camps!** presented by Mrs. Priya and Mr. Loomis

This year, we plan to have two tutoring sessions.The tutoring sessions will be geared towards preparing students for the next academic year by reviewing pertinent materials and introducing important concepts.

The first session will be from July 10th - July 13th, 2023.

The second session will be from July 24th - 27th, 2023

REGISTRATION - CCA students will receive a 10% discount for our camps. Please note this discount will only be applied if payment is made via zelle or check made payable to Focus Tutoring. Please include CCA student in the comments section.
