STUDENTS OF THE MONTH
JOELLA CHOI Outstanding grades, great teammate and a student with integrity! Joella is a hard working student and helpful with her classmates. She comes to class prepared and has high goals for herself. She is an example of what a Bronco should be. | NATHANIEL SIMMERMAN Nate is a great example of perseverance and hard work. He worked his way back from surgery to compete on the basketball team this year. He never missed a practice, and was always putting in hard work while he was there. | BROOKLYN WILLIAMS I have had the pleasure of being both a teacher and a coach for Brooklyn. In the classroom she is a phenomenal example of a student who stays on task, asks good thought-provoking questions, helps her peers, and stays engaged in what we are learning in class. In addition, she represents our Girls Athletic Program with dignity, integrity, and responsibility. She is competitive & always looks for ways to get better & to help push her team to success. She also makes us laugh! We just love, Brooklyn Williams! |

GAVIN ROBERSON Gavin Roberson plays a big role on BJH's 8th grade boys basketball team. Gavin Roberson participates in four sports at BJH football, cross country, basketball, and track. While Gavin is not busy in one of those sports he is busy hitting the books to stay of BJH's AB honor roll. | LONDON MORGAN London is a great example of what BJH girls athletics is all about. She is a hard worker, comes prepared every day, great leader, she always has a good attitude, great teammate and really pushes herself to get better. The coaching staff appreciates all the hard work that she puts in and we are so happy she is apart of our athletic program. Keep up the great work! | BRAYDEN LORENZ Brayden Lorenz is a member of the 7th grade boys basketball team. While participating in basketball Brayden has maintained a high GPA. Brayden is a leader in both the locker room and the classroom. |

BEDFORD JUNIOR HIGH JWAC TEAM COMPLETES IN THE ACADEMIC WORLDQUEST COMPETITION
Wednesday, February 22nd, the Bedford Jr. High JWAC travelled to the University of Arlington to compete in the World Affairs Council's annual Academic WorldQuest competition. This competition quizzed students about geopolitical topics ranging from policy in the Arctic to the future of supply chains. They competed against local high schools, who have had national top-ranking teams for the past several years. Although it was a very competitive field, our teams did great! One of the teams even scored in the top third! Great job, Broncos!

FRESHMAN GIRLS SOCCER
Goalkeeper, Joella Choi, started the scoring with a perfectly placed penalty kick after we earned a PK from a hand ball in the box off of a fantastic cross from Katrina Spencer. Katrina quickly followed that up with a second goal of her own. The Lady Freshman Broncos continued to build on the lead with goals from Ella Trevino, Aliya Kershaw, Giselle Nino, and Amira Yassin.
