NJHS 7th & 8th Grade Semi-Formal Dance
We had almost 400 students join us at the NJHS Sponsored 7th & 8th Grade Semi-Formal Dance. Thank you to Mrs. Smith and the NJHS for organizing this event and raising money for the American Heart Association!

Public and Permanent: an assembly on responsible technology use for parents
Save the Date! Please join us at 7:00 PM at Benedict A. Cucinella School on February 27, 2023 for a Parent Assembly on Responsible Use of Technology.
Presenter Mr. Richard Guerry will present to all LVMS Students on 2/28/23 during school as well.
NJHS Upcoming Events
The National Junior Honors Society will be sponsoring the following events:
Flowers for Friends: 2/1 - 2/13
Students can purchase carnations for $1.00 and write a message to be sent to a friend at LVMS. Forms will be found in Homerooms. Flowers will be delivered on 2/14/23.
Annual Staff vs. Student Basketball Game: 3/3 from 3:30 - 5:00 PM
When: Friday, March 3rd from 3:30 - 5:00 PM

Who: All LVMS Students
Tickets: $5 per person sold during lunches starting 2/28 (NO TICKETS SOLD AT THE DOOR)
Other: There will be snacks and a 1/2 time raffle

Spring Intramurals
Spring Intramurals SIGN UPS are now open for all interested students in grades 6-8th. Permission slips are available in Room 29 with Mr. Inskeep or in the Guidance Office with Mrs. Werneke. Signups will be open until February 24th but and are on a first come first serve basis. Enrollment is limited to 50 students.

LVMS Music Department Updates
West Morris Area Chorus Concert
On January 23rd, the LVMS Quint Chorus combined with other schools in the West Morris Area to perform a concert. The schools involved were Mendham Twp. Middle School, Mountain View Middle School, Black River Middle School, West Morris Central High School and West Morris Mendham High School.

Boys Baseball
Boys Baseball - 7th / 8th Grades
Attention all 7th and 8th grade students interested in signing up for baseball. Sign ups will begin Tuesday, February 14, outside of the North Gym. Please make sure to supply your name, grade, and homeroom teacher on the signup sheet.
There will be an organizational meeting for all 7th and 8th grade players interested in trying out on Wednesday, February 22.
Girls Softball
Girls Softball - 7th / 8th Grades
All 7th & 8th grade girls interested in playing for the LVMS softball team this Spring should sign up outside Rm. 26. Coach Demarest´s Room.
