How to Vote in Burlington?
All you need to know in order to vote
Where and how do I register to vote?
- You will need to go to the Towns Clerk office at city hall, where you will be given a form to fill out
- Also, you can get a form, fill it out, and then mail it to city hall
- Mail-in voter registration is located at the Public library, Recreation department, post office, and town hall.
- The City hall is located across from the common. It is in between the fire and police station
What do I have to do to be eligible and what are the requirements?
- Must be 18 years old
- Must be a United States citizen
- Must be a citizen of Burlington
- Registered at the town hall
What to do on Election Day?
When it is Election Day, you need to go to The Burlington Hgih school on 123 Cambridge street, Burlington, Ma.
The time you go is different depending on which election it is:
- Town elections: 8:00am-8:30pm.
- State/primary elections: 7:00am-8:00pm.
- Presidential elections: 6:00am-8:00pm.
What if I am unable to get to the Burlington High school on voting day?
If you can not make it to the High school to vote, you can get a ballot sent to your house in order to still vote.
Also, you may send someone in with a note saying you gave them permission to vote in your name.
