Winter break begins after school on Friday, December 19 & and school resumes on Monday, January 5th!

Lowell Winter Concert Appreciation

Thank you to the many families who supported the Lowell Winter Concert. We hope you had a wonderful time and that the children's singing added to your holiday spirit!

Please click here to share feedback regarding your Lowell Winter Concert Experience!

Lowell Winter Break Challenge

Share something you learn during Winter Break! It might be fun facts from a trip, a family tradition or something you read. You can include a photo, a link or just type your response. One person will be selected on January 5th to earn $10 toward their next Scholastic book order.

The Green Corner: Recycle Your Holiday Lights

At December's Green Club meeting, students spent some time making their own recycled gift tags, bows, boxes, cards, and wrapping paper from magazine pages, old cards, cereal boxes, and ribbon scraps. As you wrap your gifts this holiday season, think about ways you can re-use or re-purpose materials to avoid unnecessary waste. For example, consider wrapping presents in newspaper or re-using gift bags and bows from year to year. Happy holidays from the Green Club!

Save the Date: Lowell Spirit Day & Cook's Night Out- Join us at Barone’s on Wednesday, January 14 from 4-9 p.m.!

Thinking Ahead to Jamboree

Plans are well underway for this year's Jamboree on Friday, February 27th, between 5 and 8 p.m. Jamboree is a carnival-themed fun fair for the whole family. Mark your calendars, and come join us for games, prizes, food, music, and friends!

If you are planning to spend some of winter break de-cluttering or the kids receive any duplicate stocking stuffers/gifts, please set aside any items that might be re-purposed as a Jamboree prize and send them in once school resumes. There will be a box in the office throughout the months of January and February to collect prize donations. Any gently used knick-knacks you might want to part with will be gladly accepted: bouncy balls, Happy Meal toys, jelly bracelets, books, matchbox cars, stickers, pencils, figurines--you name it!

We will also be collecting large baskets for the Jamboree raffle. If you happen to have one you don't need anymore (or perhaps receive a giant fruit basket as a holiday gift!), we will gladly take the basket off your hands. Just send it in to the school office after break.

Thanks so much for your support of this school event!

New students can join at any time - no previous experience necessary! - and returning students can join year after year to build on what they've already learned without ever repeating the same curriculum.
