Stay Active
Get Enough Rest
Most of us don't get enough sleep. Sleep is one of the most important things you can do to stay healthy. Kids need 9-10 hours of sleep each night, and adults need around 7-8 hours.
Schedules Can Help
Uncertainty of a situation can fuel many emotions. Create a daily schedule so that you can have order and predictability. Schedules help us to plan and to break up the day. Include wake-up and bedtime, work, school work, exercise and family time.

Dealing with Disappointment
Dealing with Disappointment
Disappointment is difficult for kids and even adults! Even the smallest disappointment can seem huge. During this time at home with our families, I bet there have been some disappointments, as well. Think of a recent disappointment-a canceled trip, not going to school, falling off your bike, not seeing your friends, or losing a game. Talk about how you feel when those things happen. Sometimes kids can really struggle to regulate their feelings. Print or discuss the sandcastle at the link below. Parents, discuss with your child how you handle disappointment
