Dear Spartan Students & Families,

I hope this newsletter finds you all safe, well, and dry on this rainy afternoon. We are quickly approaching the end of the first marking period here at Steinert High School and our students, staff, and community have been hard at work getting back into the swing of an in-person school year. I am so proud of our Spartan Community!

It has been a pleasure to get to know your children more in these past few weeks and seeing them dive into learning in their classrooms and flourish socially with their friends. I am looking forward to several events that are upcoming including our annual Food Drive, our Post-Secondary College & Career Night, Spirit Week, and much more.

Thanksgiving Food Drive

Beginning Monday, 11/1 we will be running our annual Spartan Thanksgiving Food Drive. This special event, run by our Peer Leaders and the Key Club, helps to collect food items and gift card donations to assemble Thanksgiving meal baskets for Spartan & greater Hamilton families in need.

Please see the information below for the items being requested for donation from each grade. Collection boxes will be located in the cafeteria.

Winter Sport Sign Ups & Physicals

Winter Sports Season is here! Please visit the athletics page to learn the tryout dates for our ice hockey, swim, basketball, winter track, and wrestling programs.

Sports physicals are due on various dates for each program. Please check to ensure you submit to the School Nurse on time. Click here for more information!
