Message from the Principal
Dear Stinson Families,
Thank you all for your support and presence at our 5th Annual Fall Fest. This year was a great success, and we were able to raise almost $7000. Our various student organizations will be using their funds to support their students and upcoming events. Thank you parents for supporting our fundraiser and also enjoying the time listening and viewing the various fine arts program.
As you review our newsletter, you will notice our students have been involved in many opportunities, and we look forward to having you attend our upcoming holiday concerts and counselor parent nights.
May you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving with your families and friends. We are extremely blessed at Stinson to be working daily with your children, building relationships, and watching them grow.
With Skyhawk Pride,
Lou Medina, Principal

Attendance Reminders
Removal from School during the School Day
We understand that occasionally parents have to take their child out of school before the 3:50 bell. However, since our goal is to maximize learning time, students will not be called down to the office until the parent has checked into the attendance office. Please don't forget to send a note (parent or doctor) to the attendance office when the student returns to school.
Furthermore, after 3:30 p.m., requests to sign-out students to leave campus will not be taken due to the amount of time that it will take to bring a student to the office. The end of the day is often a very busy time and asking for students to be signed-out at the last minute puts an undue burden on our staff. If you are planning to sign-out your student early, please plan accordingly.
