HELP NEEDED AT OFFICER TRAINING
Officer Training Facilitators Needed

Plan to arrive at noon for instructions and materials. Meet at the podium in the auditorium. If you are registering participants, please meet at 11:45 at the tables outside of the auditorium.

Order of the day (Sue will walk you through the process):
- When the participants arrive they will be broken into groups by different colored name tags. There are ten total groups. In the auditorium they will participate in a rotating activity by their group. You will briefly teach each group about the office you are representing.
- Then they will rotate to the next activity. This activity is so that the new officers understand how they will work as a team. You will have five minutes per group.
- Next you will break out into different locations with your particular office. You will give them more in-depth instructions and handouts. This will be about 20 minutes with walking time.
- We will then have a mock meeting back in the auditorium. Sue needs someone from each group to volunteer. She has a crazy fun idea. The mistake we see everyone make is that they say: “I motion that,…” In the mock meeting that will be on the stage in the auditorium, she was thinking that every time someone says “I motion that…”, a voice comes over the loudspeaker that is of the song, “I want to move it, MOVE IT! Sue needs someone to volunteer to be the President, VP, Secretary and Treasurer to hold a mock meeting and the Move It Move It Voice. :)
