What is the Flu?
The flu, a highly contagious respiratory virus spread by coughing, sneezing, and unsanitary contact with an object. If you have this virus it is best to keep away from the general public as you don't want it to spread. If you have contracted this virus it is also best to see a doctor.
Symptoms of the Flu include:
- Chills
- Headache/body ache
- Runny or stuffy nose
- Cough
- Sore Throat
- A possible fever of 100 degrees or above
Preventing the Flu from spreading
It is important that you always wash your hands and keep good hygiene. Make sure to cover your sneezes and coughs. Even though you may not see your cough or sneeze, it can spread through the air and land on an object you may not notice. Yet, someone could walk buy and pick up this object. Then getting sick from that sneeze or cough.
What to do if you have the flu.
If the flu is contracted, it is best to see a doctor. Make sure to wash your hands frequently, cover your coughs, and cover sneezes. Drink plenty of water to keep you hydrated.

Washing your hands keeps your hands clean and germ free. You are less likely to spread germs if you keep your hands clean.

Drinking water is always a good way to help stay healthy and get rid of some sicknesses. Drinking water is the body's natural way of staying hydrated and getting rid of a sickness that may be in your body.
