Tiger Clinic News
Every year, we strongly encourage all high-risk individuals and individuals with high-risk family members to get their flu vaccinations. This year, however, it is likely that flu viruses and COVID-19 will both spread this fall and winter. As a result, Fort Bend ISD, in partnership with Fort Bend County Health & Human Services, will provide free, drive-thru flu shots for FBISD students, in kindergarten through grade 12.
As our vaccine supply is limited, we must encourage families that have health insurance to contact their health care provider for flu vaccination.
Families who do not have insurance can pre-register for this appointment-only flu shot clinic by going to the registration page. The Drive-Thru Flu Shot Clinic will take place as follows:
When: Saturday, December 12, 2020
Time: 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Location: George Bush High School (6707 FM 1464 Road, Richmond, 77407)
If all appointment slots are taken, uninsured families can also schedule a flu vaccination appointment with the Fort Bend County Immunization Clinic. Please call the Outreach Flu Clinic Registration Call Center at 832-471-1373 for more information.
