Principal's Message
Happy Friday Cougar Families!
We are excited celebrate Black History month throughout February
Wednesday marked the first day of Black History Month. We will be offering learning experiences inside and outside the classroom to honor the contributions and influence that African American Americans have had on the history, culture, and achievements for the United States. Our Black Student Union will be kicking off the celebration with a cookout on February 7 before the boys basketball senior night game. We encourage all to swing by and try some home cooked and catered soul food and learn from our students how and why the food they selected represents their culture. Food service will begin at 4pm and the JV and Varsity basketball games begin at 5:00 and 6:30 respectively.
Next week is National School Counseling Week! The purpose of School Counseling week is to focus the public attention on the unique contribution of school counselors at our schools. Please take the time to thank our counseling staff for the tremendous impact they have in helping our students achieve school success and plan for a career.
Have a safe and awesome weekend!
