Holiday Parties!
Holiday parties will be this Friday, December 18th at 10:45 in your child`s classroom. Be looking for information coming from homeroom moms regarding the party details. Parents are welcome to join us during the parties. Will will be released from school at 11:45 immediately following the class party. If you are planning on signing your child out early it will have to be from the office following regular sign out guidelines and procedures. If you are planning on decorating for the party please be here by 9:30. If you are simply wanting to attend, parties will begin at 10:45!
Pjs on Friday!
Students are encouraged to wear Pjs on Friday to help celebrate our winter sing along and winter parties! Please remember that ALL dress code policies remain in place and only school appropriate PJs are allowed.
Student Holiday!
Please remember Monday, January 4th, will be a student holiday! Students are returning to school Tuesday, January 5th. Please note there will be no reading or math homework sent home over the break!
Important Reminders!
- Chilly weather is slowly approaching! Please make sure your child brings a jacket to school when the weather begins to get colder. Kinders are outside in the morning when it may still be chilly outside. Jackets should have their names on the inside tags to help keep up with them. Also, please make sure students know how to put their jackets on and zip them up properly, this will help with broken zippers!
- Ipads! Please make sure that Ipads are being charged nightly if your child takes their Ipad home at the end of the day. Ipads are used on a daily basis in the classroom and must be fully charged to be used throughout the day.
Snack Donations!
For some of our families, providing a nutritious snack each day to assist their GES star’s performance throughout the day does not happen consistently because of food insecurities. If you are able, please donate individually packaged Goldfish or pretzels in order to help us provide that snack for students that arrive at school without it because of the insecurities. This would not pertain to students that simply forgot a snack that day. If your Star forgets his/her snack often, sending multiple days worth of snacks might help.
