A NOTE FROM THE NURSE
Tuesday, August 25, 2020
Dear Tiger Family,
Hello! I want to cover some information about what school will look like during COVID.
We ask that you take your child's temperature every morning, please do not send them to school if they have a temperature over 100’. Please remember the Kinsa program for your free thermometer.
Symptoms of COVID-19 cover a wide range. Students with any of the following symptoms are asked to stay home:
Fever or chills
Cough, shortness of breath, or difficulty breathing
Headache
Fatigue, muscle or body aches
Sore throat
Congestion or runny nose
Nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea
In addition students who develop any of these symptoms at school will be sent home. Students will be expected to be picked up immediately to help decrease the exposure of other students.
Clean hands are going to be critical this year. Please watch this hand washing video https://youtu.be/x3QUtQQp8W4?list=TLPQMjgwNzIwMjD0fFAjloQrTA with your child and practice before school starts. We ask that your child wash their hands before leaving home every day and when they get home from school to protect your family. Students will also be asked to wash or sanitize their hands multiple times throughout the day.
As the situation changes I will send out more information. Please give me a call if you have any questions, comments or concerns at 719-588-1366 or 719-657-3088.
Stay healthy,
Nurse Julie
