New Enrollment Referral
As a way to say thank you to our current families, we are offering parents an incentive for referring new families to Holly Academy. For every child you bring into HA that is accounted for in our October count, you will receive $100. For example, if you refer a family with 3 kids that would be $300!! Go spread the word to all your family and friends about how remarkable HA is!

Spring Testing continued with 5th grade taking MSTEP Science and 3rd and 4th grades taking Math. NWEA also began this week for Y5’s, Kindergarten, and 2nd grade. The students did an amazing job and continue to put forth great effort! I cannot say thank you enough to our proctors, Mrs. Bunka and Mrs. Nabozny. They have two different tests to monitor to ensure all goes smoothly! Without them, we would not be able to make this happen.
Next week's testing schedule:
- Math cycle of MSTEP for 5th, 6th, and 7th graders
- Social Studies for 5th graders
- NWEA testing for 2nd, 3rd, and 4th graders
These tests will be administered on different days to ensure students have every opportunity for success.
The end of the year is extremely busy with various activities. Please remind your child that although school is almost out there is still a lot of education happening over the next few weeks.
A huge thank you to all staff and parent volunteers who worked at last Friday's Fun Night for 5th, 6th, and 7th grade students. It was a great time!
Today, we celebrated Cinco de Mayo with a food truck and pinata for 5th-8th graders, and the Spring Fling dance this evening. Power of the Pack!

Special Dress Down Day
There will be a special dress-down day on Monday, May 15th all Holly Academy students. This dress-down day is an additional day and was not part of the yearly payment. It is to benefit the 8th grade end-of-the-year events including the formal dance and graduation ceremony, which are very special events. The majority of our 8th graders have been here since kindergarten, and the events at the end of the year are meant to celebrate their successes. After Covid, we were unable to sustain a reasonable amount of money in the 8th-grade fund, which resulted in a shortage this year.
We are asking students to pay $1.00, or more, to participate in this dress-down.
There are so many special things our 8th graders get to do such as Washington D.C., formal awards and graduation ceremony, 8th-grade slideshow, 8th-grade formal dance at a local venue, Fensington Fun Day (on campus), Field Day, Mural and Rock Painting, the burial of uniforms, and 8th grade clap out. Holly Academy is unique in planning all these activities for our 8th graders. Please help us continue our traditions for this year’s class of 2023.
Please remember even students who pre-paid will still have to pay for the dress down on Monday, May 15. Many thanks for your continued support.
