Our School Vision

Vision: North Metro Academy of Performing Arts will be the best charter school in the state of Georgia where students acquire the 21st century knowledge and skills ignited by the arts to be successful in high school and college.

Mission: NMAPA engages students in instruction that integrates academics and performing arts in ways that address the unique needs and interests of each student, while intentionally developing confidence, imagination and collaboration.

Spelling Bee

Congratulations to all of our Spelling Bee participants and our winner from Mr. Callaway's class Peyton Brooks. Everyone did a fantastic job. Thank you to the NMAPA Players for entertaining the guest and participants as well.

Silver Spoon

Congratulations to our Silver Spoon winner for this week Ms. Shar. This award recognizes a staff member who demonstrates a strong commitment to our students. This staff member encourages students and staff to think imaginatively, critically, and independently. Each week a new staff member will receive the silver spoon.

Book Fair

Please join us for our Book Fair February 18th-22nd. We will have a preview day on Thursday, February 14th. Teachers, please make sure to sign up for a time to have your class preview the book fair.

School Dance

Thursday, March 7th, from 5:00-8:00 we have our first school dance. The dance will take place here at NMAPA and will cost $5.00. This will be an excellent time for all. Scholars will have music, food, and fun. Please contact the front office if you have any questions.

Saturday School

Saturday School will begin next month for all 3rd, 4th, and 5th-grade students who would like to participate. During these sessions, teachers will work with scholars to provide intensive small group instruction. We will begin Milestone preparation for the scholars. The following dates are listed below: February 2nd, February 9th, February 23rd, March 9th, March 16th, and March 23rd. Please contact someone from the administrative team if you have any questions.

Birthday Parties

Birthday celebrations shall only take place during recess and lunch. Please limit your items to cupcakes or cake (pre-sliced). Class parties will take place before winter break and the last day of school. Please contact the front office if you have any questions or concerns.
