Let's practice our French, in Montreal!
This year has been spent working on practical French that we can use in the real world, so let's take it to the city of Montreal. You will have the opportunity to use what we've been learning in the classroom in a real, French-speaking place! So get excited, practice your "Bonjour" and "Enchanté," and let's go!

Notre Dame Basilica
Constructed in 1832, this gothic revival-style basilica is found in Old Montreal. It is decorated in royal blue and gold detail, and instead of traditional stained glass depicting scenes from the bible, the windows depict Montreal's religious history. The basilica also houses a tremendous pipe organ from 1891 with 7000 individual pipes and four keyboards.
Museum of Fine Art
The Museum of Fine Art is the largest museum in Montreal, and houses paintings, sculptures, furniture, glass, silverware, textiles, ceramics, and industrial design pieces.
Biodome
The Biodome houses four distinct ecosystems found in North America, including a rainforest, wilderness, and polar exhibit. Each ecosystem includes flora and fauna typically found in those habitats.
