A Message from Mr. Rieder

Thank you for all the support you have shown throughout the start of the school year. The fall season is always a busy time when parental involvement is truly appreciated. There is a spirit of cooperation among our parents that focuses on the children first. The staff at Bayville School applauds your involvement as we attempt to make a positive impact on each child.

Parent Teacher Conferences

Our Parent Teacher Conference Schedule is as follows:

11/23: Afternoon conference only

11/24: Afternoon and evening conferences

If you did not schedule or cannot make your conference, please contact your child's teacher. Also, each teacher will be scheduling only one conference for each student. If both parents wish to attend, please arrange your schedule accordingly. Due to the limited amount of time, additional conferences cannot be scheduled.

Only parents should attend conferences. No siblings or other children please.

K-4 12:40 Dismissal

November 24:

K-4 12:40 Dismissal

November 25:

K-4 12:40 Dismissal

Breakfast and bag lunches will be available.

Parent Portal

If you have not already done so, please log onto the parent portal at our school website: It is important that you answer all parent questions including Photo Press Release, Emergency Closing Procedures, KI Fact Sheet, and update any contact information. If you have any questions about the parent portal, please contact the main office.

Dream Tree

Each holiday season, Bayville School has a Dream Tree set up with a list of students by birth date and gender who are in need of some gifts for the holidays.

Dream Tree tags will be on the tree beginning November 16, 2015 - December 11, 2015. adults who take a tag need to sign up with the secretaries.

Please bring in a new, wrapped present to the main office by the date listed on the back of the tag and tape the tag to the package. Thank you for participating and helping our families.

Nurse News

Attention Preschool parents: Please submit proof of seasonal flu shots to the nurse's office before January 4, 2016.

If you have any questions regarding medications administered in school or any other health related concerns, go to our website at and click on the Health Services tab.

Parents in all grades: Please keep a spare change of clothing appropriate for the season in a large zip-lock bag in your child's backpack for any accidents, spills, etc.

When your child is sick, you may now email Mrs. Manfredi: Please let her know the date(s) your child will be out sick and if you would like homework put together after the child has been absent for 2 days.
