Do you have veterans you would like to honor by inviting them to our Veteran Dinner and/or on our Veteran Slideshow?
- Send in veteran addresses (retired or currently serving) to the.adams@me.com so we can send them an invitation to our dinner or we can send invitations home with students to be hand delivered. Over 200 invitations have already gone out!
- Start collecting information/picture about the veterans you would like to honor in our veteran slideshow that will be shown at the veteran dinner (forms will be sent home in this weeks Friday folder)
- Do you have memorabilia you can display at our veteran dinner? Tables will be set up for students to honor veterans or show authentic items throughout history. Students are welcome to bring in items from Civil War to present day. Example: WWII helmet, uniforms from different time periods, ammunition, knives/swords (no guns), keepsakes, etc. * Please do not bring memorabilia in until the day of the dinner. Items will then be supervised at all times. Items then need to be taken home at the conclusion of dinner.
- See pictures below of memorabilia displayed in the past
